Yes. Riverstone Therapy offers both in person (if you are local) and online sessions are held virtually using a secure, HIPAA‑compliant video platform. This allows you to attend from home, the office, or wherever you feel most comfortable.
Standard sessions are one hour broken down into 45 minutes of therapy/treatment time with 15 minutes of down time to transition you back to more effectively coping with life after discussing sensitive issues. For example some clients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions to build momentum, then shift to weekly as they feel more stable. We’ll decide the pace together based on your goals and capacity.

That is a great question! Every therapist and approach can be a bit different. However, clients often tell us you actually care and want me to be better and therapy feels like a supportive, safe, practical, and grounded space to share and grow.
During therapy it is not only about focusing on understanding why your patterns show up so together but also we work on building concrete tools so you can respond differently in your day‑to‑day life and ultimately change from the inside out to grow and heal effectively with by helping to facilitate your change, step by step.
The frequency of therapy sessions can vary depending on your needs and goals—some people go weekly, others biweekly, or even monthly. You will discuss with me as your therapist what is your best fit and what best helps to meet your treatment goals!
Riverstone represents our philosophy and approach to healing. We draw inspiration from nature, embracing processes that promote wellbeing and growth. Just as riverstones are shaped over time by the steady, intentional flow of water, we believe that with compassionate, professional therapeutic care, change and healing are possible.
Healing is not rushed—it is gentle, consistent, and purposeful. Over time, this ongoing flow can soften the rough edges formed by trauma, grief, depression, and anger. As the river smooths and shapes each stone, therapy can help shape resilience, balance, and strength—revealing a beautiful, grounded, and rock-solid you.
